This Bridal specialist course is perfect for budding make-up artists wanting to either specialise in the Bridal Hair & Make-Up market or those existing artists wanting to brush up on this specialised field. As Bridal specialist hair & make-up is an integral part of artistry that cannot be reflected or compared to the teaching of glamour, fashion or theatrical make-up. This 5 day course covers the professional insider knowledge needed to equipped student's for success. With a balanced mix of demonstration, practical and theory teaching methods. Student' s are able to take in a wide range of teaching methods and skill sets, which allows them to analyse a variety of opinions and alternative methods. The Gina B Beauty Academy is hear to take you for bridal artist to bridal specialist! A successful bridal specialist must be fluent in all accepts and crafts of their trade. This is why we are offering our existing bridal students the opportunity to have a unique and personal teaching course catered for them, by incorporate an intensive Henna & Body Art Specialist training session into your course syllabus. 

Day 1: Step by step practical guidance and demonstrations of how to create the most sought after bridal looks for all ethnicities.
Including the popular Walima ceremony, Arabic influence, Traditional bride & Registry bride.
This covers the importance and professional understanding of artist hygiene for example, keeping all your equipment clean and tidy and personal hygiene.

Day 2: Your teaching day will consist of both theory and practical teaching techniques. You will focus on how to create the some of the most stunning yet versatile bridal hair styles that are often in demand. This course will explore the importance of presentation when you are in the presence of a client, which includes hygiene and professionalism. Also how to approach your bridal consultation by understanding the 'bigger picture'' and assesing everything from the dress to the make-up, in order to ensure you hair style will fit in with the overall look perfectly. Learning how to perfect the best blow drying techniques, work with extensions, hair pieces, building mass, volume, texture & height, adding hair adornments, flowers and jewellery. These styles are suitable for the popular Walima ceremony, Arabic influence, Traditional bride & Registry bride. During this course you will learn a large variety of tips and tricks that will enhance your expertise when working with a bride. Your specialised tutor will go over a wide range of products and advise you on the appropriate uses for each to allow you the ability to achieve your client's desired looks, whether it is an up do or glamours red carpet tousled wave.

Day 3 - students will learn basic designs and patterns they will learn how to join symbols and designs together and will learn how to draw various different henna styles - students will cover the history of henna and learn the different styles of henna from around the world student will also gain on knowledge on the science between henna and different skin types. Students will  learn how to roll cones and apply henna on the skin..also practical will be done on the students hand - learning the various styles to apply using a cone eg making fine lines with the cone, shading, intricate designs students will be taught tricks and tips on how to get darker colours on the skin and will learn how to add shimmers and to designs and learn how stencils can be applied to designs

Day 4 - students will design a unique henna design with cones and will be assessed on what they have learnt, students will showcase what they have practised and design an original design including fine lines, shading and intricate designing.

Day 5  - Portfolio day! The day is dedicated to you and what you have learnt throughout your course. Create up to 2 looks with a professional model, stylist on hand to advise you on wardrobe and accessories, and our professional photographer to finalise your amazing looks. Each student will receive a CD with their images plus 2 complimentary airbrushed images.
